lovely stay with a minor hiccup

fresh option tea supply coffee supply helpful bag storage
i spent four nights here and found the experience very pleasant. the breakfast buffet was a great start to each day. it offered a wide variety of fresh options. i really appreciated the ample supply of tea and coffee in my room, and i also liked the kettle that was in there. leaving my bags after checkout was helpful, allowing me to explore until my afternoon train.
it felt smaller due to a slanted ceiling and the bed seemed somewhat tilted. i noticed some brown marks on the ceiling as well.
Location
10/10
the hotel sits conveniently close to the beach. the location provides easy access to nearby town amenities. its centrality allowed for quick trips to popular attractions.
Dining
9/10
breakfast included several breads, crackers, yogurts. fresh fruit, cereals, cheeses and meats were available. there were veggie and vegan choices, and the buffet layout was consistently replenished. the pleasant serving made breakfast even better.

Excellent Stay with a View

clean room comfortable bed convenient location
The room was really clean (I loved the fresh smell!) and had everything I needed, including tea and coffee. I especially appreciated the fan because the weather was warm. The bed was comfortable and I slept well even though my room overlooked the square. I found it very convenient to walk to the seafront, restaurants, and shops.
The continental breakfast lacked hot options (a cooked breakfast would have been amazing!).
Facilities
9/10
The hotel features a breakfast buffet that includes fresh croissants and fruit (especially the croissants!). Advice is available about parking, a great benefit given how tricky parking in the area can be.
Location
10/10
This hotel is excellently located, providing easy access to the lanes and seafront. The position allowed for a view of Regency gardens out to sea (the view was excellent, wow!).

staff kindness public gardens room proximity expensive garage room size shower temperature
The staff displayed kindness, and i found the public gardens lovely. my room faced the front. It was very peaceful at night. proximity to restaurants and bars was a plus.
the shower offered extremes, super hot, then cold, with no middle ground. the room itself felt quite small, particularly the bathroom with its shower.
